Select a matrix of the required length and, outside the oral cavity, insert the tines of the springclip into the tubes on the matrix edges. Installation with ring: select a matrix of the required length and connect it with the ring outside the oral cavity. Using forceps (see p. 25 of the Catalogue), install the system on the tooth. When operating with the ring: 1) before starting, make sure there is no rust on the ring surface and no signs of damage to the integrity of the ring; 2) perform all ring-opening manipulations outside the patient's oral cavity; 3) avoid high-speed opening of the ring; 4) do not open the ring tines wider than 10-12 mm.

Ring № 1.033А has the same construction of tines as standard ring № 1.033 for saddle matrices. Addition of extra loop on the ring makes it more flexible and allows to operate in wider range of opening without increase of residual distance between tines after use.
