Dear Customers, we are glad to inform you that the new system for verifying the authenticity of TOR VM products is implemented in 2026.

How does it work?

Most TOR VM products manufactured in 2026 and later are labelled with a holographic QR code on the back of the package. Verification is straightforward — follow these steps:

  1. Scratch the protective layer covering the QR code.

  2. Scan the revealed QR code with your smartphone.

  3. Open the link and ensure that you reach qr.torvm.ru.

  4. Press the Check button. The verification result will be displayed.

    • If the code is authentic and being checked for the first time, you will see a confirmation message.

    • If the code has already been checked, you will see a warning. This is normal when you re-check a product you have already verified. However, if this is your first time checking this code, it means someone else has already checked it — please contact us to investigate.

Which products are covered?

The QR-code authenticity verification system was introduced for TOR VM products manufactured in 2026 and later. Two implications follow: a 2026 or newer product without a QR code is counterfeit, and a pre-2026 product with a QR code is also counterfeit. The production date is printed on the back label near the manufacturer mark in the following format:
